Vascular Screening Tests:

Our screening package includes testing all 3 of the following vascular diseases.

• Stroke/Carotid Artery Ultrasound Test
  Some strokes are associated with blockages in the carotid arteries (neck arteries) that may be detected with a painless, noninvasive ultrasound.
• Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Test (4-hour fast required)
  An Abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA) is an enlargement of the Aorta (the largest blood vessel in the body). Aneurysms have a risk of rupture which can be fatal.

• Circulation; Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) Test (ABI)
  Many adults over 55 years have leg cramps due to poor circulation. A simple blood pressure test can make this diagnosis of PAD. PAD is also an indicator of possible heart disease.
